The sight of gaily colored lanterns festooned along the riverbanks in Clarke Quay, Singapore last September 30 brought Christmassy memories. And then I found myself munching on a sweet cake prepared in the shape of the moon filled with red bean paste and realized that (gasp!) I was in the midst of celebrations of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (my first, yay!).

  1. We have been living here in Singapore for the past four years now but have not attended a celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the city as yet. We have a few small festivals within campus, but we haven’t joined the large ones yet. Thanks for sharing the photos.
